Accelerating Uptake of Electric Vehicles for a Low Carbon Economy

Henrik Moller from Flip the Fleet (www.flipthefleet.org) will present analysis of data gathered from over 1000 electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid vehicles from throughout New Zealand to answer the following questions: What are the practical constraints to uptake of electric vehicles? What is the return on investment in electric vehicles? How do their costs compare to conventional vehicles? Are financial incentives required to have sufficient electric vehicles to meet New Zealand’s targets for a net zero carbon economy by 2050?

Doors open 5:00pm, event starts at 5:30pm.
